Tonight I'll be up all night watching my little guy sleep on the couch - coolest place in the house during our current extreme heat wave. Unfortunately he's caught a little something, but I think the extreme heat is only making it worse. So I've given him a little pain reliever for his sore throat, applied a bunch of vicks to his chest and feet, then gave him loads of ice water to stay cool on the inside. Poor little guy. The heat always wears me down too. Luckily tomorrow is supposed to be the last day of this heat way - fingers crossed - so perhaps he will start to feel better starting Wednesday.
Here's to hoping my Padawan gets better soon.
