Today was the official end of "winter break", which meant that we had to jump into our homeschooling routine. I also had my class tonight, had to take care of my household chores, tried to work on taking down the directions (which I failed miserably at), my usual mom duties, and errands. It may not sound like a lot, but trust me it was for me.
I was stuck in this "holiday mode", which made today drag on for what seemed like forever. I will say that 2017 has already bought it's "issues", but nothing I can't handle of course.
I will also say that all day, I've sounded like Chirrut Imwe all day (he's from Star Wars: Rogue One in case you're wondering) and have constantly repeating to myself, "I am one with the force, the force is with me". I may sound like a broken robot, but in all honesty it kept me sane.
I think I just put way too much pressure on myself at once today. I need to just calm down and do what I can. I did get the important tasks taken care of, but tomorrow I'm going to try again with a better outlook and perspective. I can only do the best I can and nothing more.
I may still repeat Chirrut's mantra, but I will make it through. The good news is, I have special content for tomorrow so it will be a little more entertaining (sorry guys), but for now I'll leave you with this very important lesson that's I've learned today:
If you're stressing about taking down your Christmas tree, just don't do it or you'll end up sounding like a deranged manic screaming at pine needles.
Keep on rockin' Jedi's and don't let a tree get you down!
